Jacquie Turner
Jacquie Turner has been fortunate, over the years, that much of her work has been able to be based on life experiences. This includes occasional adventures in Australia and the Far East, Canada, the States and Europe. Although generally most of her creative time is spent near her home in the Chiltern Hills, walking the banks of the Thames or increasingly exploring the beautiful ‘Creekscapes’ of the south Cornish coast.
Jacquie Turner’s nautical exploits have always inspired her sailing paintings. More typical subjects range from river scenes to local landscapes, combinations of flowers, fruit and random objects collected from local junk shops and jumble sales. As Jacquie’s domestic menagerie has expanded, so to has her interest in painting the local livestock so you will now find the odd chicken and cow or even more exotic species amongst her work.
