This weekend is the last chance to meet BBC’s The Big Painting Challenge artists altogether in one room!
All 10 artists will be present this Sunday at ‘Meet-The-Artist’ day at their exhibition at Lauderdale House in Highgate from 10am to 5pm. We went last weekend and took some pics to tempt you into going, not that you need tempting!
So with regards to the competition, gather ten of the best amateur artists from around Great Britain. Over weeks of challenges, they were whittled down each week and then by the last week, we are down to three. Great programme finale with some great artwork produced all round.
The BBC’s Big Painting Challenge Contestants show what they can really do without the pressure of camera and competition. Come and see why these 10 were chosen from 6,500 of the UKs best!
All the artists have their work at this exhibition – most from the series, but some of the more interesting works have been produced since the series was filmed last year.
This Sunday is a great treat – you can MEET THE ARTISTS who will be there all day. When we were there, the artists we met were absolutely charming and more than happy to chat about their work and experiences on the show. Well worth a visit, with fabulous coffee and cake!
Paul Bell, the winner of the TV series, will be there all day, together with all the other contestants – have fun everyone.
