Here we have trowels for the laying of commemorative stones and keys to commemorate the opening of public buildings given to Sir Iain Macleod who was Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1970.
We were asked by the family to frame the above in simple, stylish, traditional way. We lined a deep shadow box with purple velvet, making matching spacers to create the depth required, objects were sewn in sympathetically and museum glass was used to glaze the piece.
